Step 1
Put the milk, salt, and rice into a pan and bring to a boil. Note: the protein powder is added later!
Step 2
Reduce the heat and simmer the rice gently until tender. This will take about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the type of rice. Stir regularly to prevent burning.
Step 3
Remove the pan from the heat and let the rice pudding cool until it is lukewarm or cold.
Step 4
Mix 1 dl of milk and 30 g of protein powder to make a thick shake.
Step 5
Stir the shake into the rice pudding until everything is evenly creamy.
Step 6
Leave to chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Note: Stir the protein powder into the cooled rice pudding only, as it can clump when heated. The nutrient absorption remains unchanged, but the consistency will become significantly creamier.
