The protein porridge can be quickly and easily baked into a bar that you can take with you on tour or to training.

Ingredients for six Cacao & Banana Bars:
120g Cacao & Banana Porridge
120g 1/2 fat quark
40g milk
30g peanut butter or butter
30g dark chocolate
additional sweetness, as desired (e.g. chocolate topping or cane sugar in the mix)
Preparation:
– Chop dark chocolate
– Mix all ingredients well
– Form the mixed mixture into a rectangle about 1.5 cm thick on a baking tray
– Preheat oven to 180°C and bake bars for 13 minutes
– After baking, let the bar mixture cool down and then cut it into six rectangles with a knife
– Refine the bars with chocolate topping as desired
Ingredients for six Berries & Apples bars:
120g Berries & Apples Porridge
120g 1/2 fat quark
40g milk
30g cashew butter
30g honey
30g cashew nuts
additional sweetness, as desired (e.g. more honey or white chocolate in the mixture or as a topping)
Preparation:
– Crush cashew nuts
– Mix all ingredients well
– Form the mixed mixture into a rectangle about 1.5 cm thick on a baking tray
– Preheat oven to 180°C and bake bars for 13 minutes
– After baking, let the bar mixture cool down and then cut it into six rectangles with a knife
– Refine the bars with chocolate topping as desired
