"I've turned my passion for food, innovation, and adventure into my career. After studying food science at ETH, I've now been working in the food industry for over 15 years. In 2018, the entrepreneurial spark that had always been within me was finally ignited, and I founded my own company.
I'm passionate about the circular economy and sustainable food, from field to plate, and I see enormous potential for protecting our environment and improving our quality of life if we use our resources more carefully and consume more consciously, less, and more indulgently. I'm a doer and want to contribute to reducing food waste while simultaneously making a living by bringing enjoyment, joy, and health to people through great food.
My favorite product: Protein Porridge Berries. I eat it almost every day for breakfast, whether it's a work day or a ski tour. It's super quick to prepare, has a truly berry flavor, and keeps you full well into the afternoon.

I grew up in the countryside and therefore spent a large part of my childhood outdoors in nature. Later, during my apprenticeship, I participated in mountain bike races extensively. I haven't competed in competitions for a while now. However, my passion for bicycles and outdoor activities remains an important part of my life.
Through conversations with my parents, who both grew up on a farm, and through my travels over the years, I became increasingly aware that today's food production wastes too many resources. At the same time, ever-increasing areas of land are being used for cultivation, causing habitats for natural flora and fauna to disappear.
With my work as co-founder of Wheycation, which develops products from side streams of the food industry, I can make a small contribution to counteracting this trend. It goes without saying that working at a startup is extremely exciting and diverse. Working at a food startup also has the advantage of always having something to try.
My favorite product: The Recovery Protein Shake Berries. I've always been a big fan of berries, and I really like the natural berry flavor. I also need quick recovery after intense exercise, and the Recovery Protein Shake provides that.
